Passenger Services & Facilities

If you are traveling through DXB, the following terminal amenities are currently active:

  • Lounges: You can access the Ahlan Lounges in Concourses A, B, and C. Additionally, both Plaza Premium and Marhaba lounges are open to guests.
  • Meet & Assist: Ahlan services remain available across all terminals to help navigate the airport.
  • Showers & Wellness: Shower alone facilities are operational in Concourse A. (Complimentary for Ahlan Lounge guests). However, the DXB Health Club (pool, gym, and sauna) in Concourse B is currently closed.
  • Hotel & Beauty: The Dubai International Hotel remains fully operational for transit travelers, and the Timeless Salon in Concourse A is open for bookings.

Airport Status
UAE authorities have reopened the airspace following a brief precautionary closure due to missile and drone threats. Flights are now operating, but some airlines continue to face delays, cancellations, or limited schedules. Travelers should verify flight times before heading to the airport.

Airline Updates

  • Emirates: Emirates Airline has updated its schedule for 29 March to 30 April 2026, continuing reduced operations while gradually restoring key routes.The airline has resumed flights to several destinations including Los Angeles, Osaka Kansai, Houston, Bologna, Lyon, Orlando, and Bogota, signaling a steady recovery in long-haul travel demand. A major highlight is the return of the Airbus A380 on eight additional routes, including Copenhagen, Glasgow, Perth, and Washington Dulles, boosting capacity on high-demand sectors.
    However, services to 11 destinations—including Adelaide, Beirut, and Tehran—remain suspended for now. Rebooking allowed till May 31 or refund via website/app.
  • flydubai: Continuing limited operations. Flight schedules may change; confirm your booking before departure.
  • IndiGo: Landings at Dubai are temporarily suspended. Passengers should check for rebooking options.
  • Air India & Other Indian Carriers: Certain flights are being diverted to Sharjah or Abu Dhabi, while others operate on a reduced schedule.
  • Cathay Pacific Airways has cancelled all Dubai flights until April 30, 2026 due to Middle East tensions, offering affected Hong Kong–Dubai passengers free rebooking or refunds until May 31, 2026.
  • Other International Airlines: Many foreign carriers have cancelled or restricted flights to Dubai due to airspace restrictions.

Even though airports are open:

  • Many flights are delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled.
  • Confirm your flight status directly with your airline.
  • Avoid arriving at the airport without verified flight information.
